Christmas Eve is a month away...

... and Santa needs some help. If you can spare a December Saturday or Sunday, please get in touch.
Pushchair monitors
To see that the bugges go from the passengers to the pushchair area, do not delay passengers doing into front of house (which causes delay further down) and go back to the rightful passengers when they have been through the grotto. The passengers and buggies have bands on so you can match them up.
Ticket checkers
Make sure that as the passengers get to the front of the line their tickets are checked and Front of House are told the party size. They also help by moving large parties to the side sometimes when we need to organise which way down the grotto maze they are going to go.
Corridor elves
Helping to move people through the grotto corridors on the way to see the big man. It involves making sure that you assist in the flow of people by listening to what is going on so you can direct people the right way down the corridors at the right time. This role can make a real impact on the length of time people wait. Training is given and new elves start at the easier locations. It takes about 10 people per day for this part of the operation alone and on some days the roster shows only half that.
Present deliverers
It is vital the keep the present boxes topped up. There is a buzzer that the big man uses to tell the present deliverers when he needs a top up. The role involves filling mailbags with either soft or hard pressies and delivering them when the buzzer goes off to the right place. Normally there are at least 4 or so for this role each day.
Great fun, good camaraderie, great atmosphere, good on your CV!
Get in touch if you can spare us a day or more.
