Today we were two, Colin and Robin were able to finish the final filling on the 'heritage coving' in the booking hall entrance. After lunch we applied another coat of matt emulsion to the coving and plaster ceiling rose.Looking critically at the papered walls, they feel that one more coat of the 'wheatgrass emulsion' is still needed to finally complete the decoration of the entrance hall. This only leaves the question of the suitability of a single bulb pendant.
Following on from the bricklaying repair to the gas main piers from Saturday, the haunching around the pipe is now completely restored, and awaiting the ministrations of Peter (The Painter) next Saturday, weather permitting of course......
