It's getting closer.. the Bridgnorth Station Gala, this year held as part of SVR150 - the 150th anniversary of the opening of Severn Valley Railway to public services in 1862.
Attractions include
a vintage velocipede, for have-a-go rides by anyone interested (small donation to restoration funds invited)
see how much fun it can be!
and a 5inch scale miniature ride-on railway, courtesy of Wolverhampton & District Model Engineering Society
which will be laid out along the car park - the kids (of all ages) seemed to love this last time we had this fab group of chaps along
We also have a display of some fascinating little scale steam engines, hand-built by a volunteer's father..
They are quite hypnotic to watch and amazing to study - their creator is very happy to answer any questions about their operation and origins in full size use.
A GREAT DAY OUT for ALL THE FAMILY!
