Housekeeping

Today, we were blessed with the 'Famous Five', those being Colin, Peter (The Painter), Dave (Beer Tokens), Geoff (The Aircraft) and moi.

At the commencement of operations, we removed the front and rear skirts from the buffet, just the sections either side covering the kitchen area. These were marked and removed for temporary storage on the cattle dock. Geoff also applied a second coat of 'Fenceguard' to the newly drilled additional ventilation holes around the skirt.

Geoff and Dave have started on the 'stocktaking/cataloguing of the workshop contents, as well as removing some bulky items to the 1000 compound.

In the booking hall, we have resited the 'Commercial' award plaque and the 82045 advertising board. The refurbished 6 x 4 noticeboard has been sited to the left of the shop entrance and looks well.

Later in the afternoon, Colin has rebuilt the support pier under the mains gas pipe following a slight mishap involving the JCB a week or two ago....

Finally, and not least we have taken the long overdue opportunity to sweep the shed floor....Housekeeping! Is there no end to these boys skills.......
