Our train departs from Bridgnorth at around 8am hauled by former LMSR Jubilee Class 4-6-0 5690 Leander.
We pick up at Bewdley, and at Kidderminster we join the national railway system and pick up, then call at Stourbridge Junction to pick up, and to attach GWR Pannier Tank 9600, which will bank our train from the rear up Old Hill Bank.
We continue through Perry Barr and call at Thame Bridge Parkway before pausing at Bescot to detach our Pannier Tank 9600. We call at Wolverhampton, and then continue into Shropshire, through Oakengates and Telford. We continue through Shrewsbury and take the Great Western Chester main line through Wales, passing Chirk and Ruabon on the wal to Chester. We continue northbound through Frodsham and Warrington before arriving at Preston. From Preston we join the line to Blackpool North. We should arrive in Blackpool around lunchtime.
Return home is diesel-hauled, with a special SVR train to take passengers back to Bewdley and Bridgnorth.
