Peace descends on the station, with the end of the festive service and all therunning locos home for winter storage. Noticeable how quiet the bar was in the evening - especially when a certain few (no names...) had departed. Aah, peace..
So good to have completed the footpath relaying - an excellent team effort by our wailing wall construction company plc (pretty limited craftsmen) and associates. Now for some paint finishing on bollards and edging stones, some replanting, gravel topping up, trench digging for new cables.. The 'new' footpath looks quite magnificent and has been well complimented
already.
