A new year and a resolution to blog at least weekly.
Today is the last Saturday of public trains until 16th February, and a glorious day it promises to be - so far this year we've had no rain - very helpful for all the outdoor works.
2013 will be a year of changes at Bridgnorth.
The Q&A next Saturday at the All Forces Club in Bridge Street will see us hearing the latest news on the communications part of the SVR Business Plan. http://www.svrlive.com/Pages/BusPlan1.aspx
No doubt questions will also be raised about the station redevelopment proposals, and the progress of the share issue. http://www.svr.co.uk/ShareOffer.aspx
Any member who cannot attend the Q&A is welcome to send their query to feedback@svr.co.uk or to hello@bridgnorthstation.co.uk to have it raised. We will try to take notes, and provide a summary of the proceedings here.
Have you seen SVRLive, the 'intranet' website for members, shareholders and enthusiasts? Watch the promotional video made for the recently created Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd (formerly the Rolling Stock Trust) http://www.svrlive.com/Pages/SVR.aspx
In the 'About the SVR' section, you can read about our directors: http://www.svrlive.com/Pages/SVRHBoard.aspx
Have a browse through SVRLive - there is a lot of information available, which will steadily increase during 2013.
